It was completely fab talking to Martel on Sun talk radio again yesterday - this time about instant attraction and research showing why men make up their minds if they're attracted to someone very quickly. We're talking milliseconds! But it's all rooted in their evolution and their biology.

Today at 1240 p.m. I'm speaking to the lovely Pete at BBC radio Northampton - we're going to tackle issues about unhappiness and happiness that relate to my new book How to Be a Happy Human…hmmm, not so sure if the hubby is particularly happy when I do interviews at the weekend but we are going to have a nice lunch afterwards - was given a load of lovely sausages and salamis by a friend who got back from France yesterday. Slice those up and have them with some yummy olives, salad and garlic bread.

And then it's the football barbecue tonight! And I'm going to be torn between the two countries!

TODAY’S THOUGHT: I'm sure you've been torn between many things - as we all are. I find the one thing that helps me is trying to keep emotions out of it and instead trying to think rationally about the options. Doesn't always work and don't doesn't necessarily stop all of the fretting!
