Don't Let the Exam-Season Become a Disaster...Here's my advice to...
Thank god the dinner went without a hitch last night - that makes a change - I'm notorious amongst friends for having kitchen disasters. My disasters have ranged from the collapsing barbecue where all the food went on the ground - to one of my cats pulling all the meat off the counter and licking it - to giving my poor hubby food poisoning the second time I cooked for him. He ‘hurled’ (what a descriptive word!) all the way home!
Was like a drowned rat getting caught in the downpour this morning as we did our Sunday late-morning jog - good way to clear away effects of the food and vino the morning after.
Came back and curled up in front of the X Factor recorded last night – yup, Lloyd is the cutest little 16-year-old who must have a massive posse of young girls dreaming that he could be their boyfriend but it makes a mockery that he's still there when Rachel, Lucy and Jamie are all out – unbelievable. In fact the whole show has got this completely bizarre atmosphere this year - it's a turning point and I'm not sure if the outcome is going to be a good one.
What about Katie Price in the jungle getting stuck with all the Bushtucker trials? A couple of them would have proved a point that her "public" wanted to give her a hard time but enough is enough(!) and it’s in the realms of bullying now. If she was hard as nails - and loved the challenges - it'd be one thing but at this point she's simply putting on a brave face. Time to give some of the other celebs go!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: have you been putting on a brave face? Maybe you've been bullied - there’s help out there - and having been anti-bullying week, it’s easy for you to find local help or go to websites like Radio 1 who are running their 'bullyproof' campaign - don't let the bullies get you down! One of my children was bullied at school and it was hard getting to the bottom of it - but definitely worth the effort. Don't give up!
Lots of hugs, off to pick at the rest of the yummy potato 'au gratin' dish from last night, Pam x
