In today's Express newspaper I've written a commentary about the so-called three year itch I mentioned yesterday. Met up with someone I occasionally work with yesterday who happened to be given a load of Avon products and as we girls do, she then shared some with me. I've read with amazement about some of the Avon saleswomen having a massive success... now I know why their products have become so successful - I was pleasantly surprised by the rich texture of the day and night creams.

I have two words to say about National Stop Smoking Day: JUST STOP! I smoked in my teens - probably thought it was cool - yeah right, diseased lungs are so cool. My first tip? Make a list of the BENEFITS of stopping smoking - like saving a ton of money, not having ashtray-breath, being able to breathe, and not giving money to a bunch of tobacco company executives! Sorry, that wasn't "two words".

So one of the people I know in the music industry mentioned The Japanese Voyeurs to me the other day. When I checked them out I came across loads of porn sites - thankfully I know a porn site when I see one so didn't enter any of them! As a sex writer I know there are people with all sorts of kinks but this was quite amusing - a particular type of voyeurism...back to the music they're pretty "interesting" and a bit dark.

Just remember don't get caught out by a porn site when you google something with a slightly dodgy name.

Was given the Alexis Jordan album (loved her tune Happiness - and all my friends know I love anything from poptastic tunes to some pretty hard-core bands) and for evermore when I hear the track Good Girl I'll think of Sara Cox filling in on Radio 1 for Scott Mills - she sang the backing singers "Oohs" - complete comedy.

Only remembered last night it was pancake day yesterday so quickly whipped some up and had maple syrup on them... sweet and yummy!
