So, more stories rattling on in the press about Jeremy Clarkson - I wonder how long his long-suffering wife will stick it. Supposedly he's a good father - and that counts for a lot in these situations - but my question is: how good a father are you if you’re betraying and hurting the mother of your children??

Because the problem with being unfaithful when you're part of the family is it affects every member of the family. Children can be devastated by such things - not just your partner - and Clarkson's children are old enough to read the papers and know their mum’s suffering... sort it out Jeremy!

Went to my oldest gal-pal’s house for a bbq yesty - she's one of these people who can only put on a feast... she doesn't know the meaning of one or two courses.

Not only did we have tasty giant grilled prawns but bbq’d chicken, pork ribs and burgers with lots of different dips and veg and salad-stuff and a massive dessert of chocolate cake, a selection of ice creams and strawberries. Positively rolled out their door we were so stuffed!

TODAY’S THOUGHT: The other great thing about this particular friend is how generous in spirit, loyal, caring and non-judgemental she is... a true ‘body shifter’ as Americans say - you know, hypothetically speaking if you needed someone to help you out of a terrible bind, they'd be your 'body shifter'.

Hang on to any friends you have like that - worth their weight in gold.
