I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Boxing Day and that you're not experiencing the post holiday blues (PHB)- the emotional crash after the excitement.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you are experiencing PHB then the best thing for it is TLC from someone you care about. Cuddle up for a hug and then let them know how you're feeling - a bit deflated. And if you've had too much seasonal "cheer" (in other words, alcohol) then go without it for a day or two because it's a depressant and will only make PHB worse.
Wish I’d placed a bet because thank God I was right - the only seasonal stress we had was in the kitchen - that old adage - too many chefs… is definitely true in my household! And trying to get people to the table while the food is hot (my pet anxiety) had me waving my arms like a mad woman as I tried to get them to the table.
Had a lovely digital radio/CD player from Hubby so I can listen to my music on something decent. He was also a naughty boy and gave me some rather more - shall I say - "personal" pressies - that I won't share with you - some things are private!
