When news broke of his diagnosis with the neurological condition MS [multiple sclerosis] Jack...
I've been recommending Michael Kiwanuka's tunes for about nine months of delighted to find he's been played on Radio 1 this morning! If you'd like some soothing sounds check him out.
Surprise, surprise the X - Factor’s already being accused of fixing - the powerfully voiced - but powerfully annoying - Kitty Brucknell evidently is a professional singer who was encouraged to enter. And 19-year-old pizza waitress Roxy Yarnold's sung with Sycho artists...Another series, another scandal.
Joan Collins has a new book out - she thinks she knows how to save Britain... I'm sure she’d strike fear into a few yobs if she slipped into her Alexis Carrington [later Colby] 1980s power-outfits [frightful!] and strutted through dangerous territory with her mega-bitch ways.
So Cambo [David Cameron] is on his fifth holiday this year - all right for some.
After being completely stuffed by the mum in law yesterday we ‘rolled’ home and caught up on The Killing. This was the first episode that didn't really move the drama forward until the very last scene...eek, can't wait for the next installment!
Someone has given me One Day to read - can't wait to start it! Intrigued by the criticism American actress Anne Hathaway in the lead roll - hmmm will her accent be dodgy?
I haven't started it yet but I gather it's about a couple who missed their moment but keep reconnecting over the years - or something like that. I've recently worked with someone who was desperate to tell her friend that she was in love with him.
She didn't have the courage and she didn't want to spoil her friendship with him. We focused on her getting a positive outcome no matter what - even if he didn't return her feelings. Turns out he did - I so love a happy ending!
TODAY’S TIP: I always figured there’s nothing to lose with being honest when you fall in love with a friend. If they're a true friend it won't ruin your friendship to confide your feelings. But it's the way you do it.
Always begin by emphasising how the friendship means the most to you - and that what you're about to say shouldn't spoil it.
Don't be melodramatic when you confess your feelings are stronger than friendship.
And definitely stress that you don't want them to feel guilty if they don't return stronger feelings.
You can do it, better to do than to endlessly obsess about it.
The Libyan rebels have made such progress let's hope Col. Gaddafi is out soon!
