Today or tomorrow my new entry for my 'Love Clinic' goes live on iVillage UK - this week I've answered a woman's dilemma about how on earth she can feel flirty and confident after her divorce.
She spent 11 years with the same man and I know from both my professional experience - - and my experience of dating after divorce - you have to claw back your confidence. Check-a-look if you're in this situation and need some advice.
Brutal, senseless murder in Oxford Street over trainers - I hope the parents and the community of these teenagers are hanging their heads in total shame and abject disgust, rounding them up and handing them over to the police.
And on to ordinary life... was sorry not to be available for a couple interview requests with BBC Radio London but family has to come first at this time of year - can't run out on them to do radio.
Clint, oh, Clint [Eastwood] - how could you direct and produce a 'film' like J Edgar about J Edgar Hoover?? After cinema greats like Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino along comes this plodding and ponderous film - please give me back those three hours of my life that were lost! Nothing new was revealed, the dialogue was leaden, the prosthetics were laughable in some scenes...all in all one big fat Christmas turkey.
Now The Help on the other hand was warm, moving and emotionally taut in equal measures. Big thumbs up!
Lovin' lots of the CDs I got in my Christmas stocking - The Kills, Real Estate, Wild Beasts, Arctic Monkeys and others - hope you're enjoying some good tunes!
TODAY’S TIP: back to feeling sexy again - it's one of those one-day-at-a-time things. Each day you've got to be positive, 'big yourself up' inside, and be brave and flirt a bit.
If you want to find love again then don't hide away.
I know of so many people who have felt horrible after their divorce -and have ended up passing through what turns out to be a very satisfying single phase - and then find they're ready for love again.
Love is wonderful, I hope you find what you're looking for, Pam x
