I'll say this again - please, please, please don't ignore letters from the people you owe money to! They won't simply disappear just because you've hidden them in the back of a drawer.

Get on to these companies now and arrange make payments you can afford.

And to Jen who's worried her husband finding out about her big credit card debt - you have to face him with it. Yes it might be tough when he first finds out and you might have to deal with lots of anger - but the calm will come after the storm and you two can work together sorting this mess out.
