Don't Let the Exam-Season Become a Disaster...Here's my advice to...
I've commented in the Huffington Post about a survey finding redecorating your bedroom - and even your sitting area - can reconnect you with your partner. This is absolutely true!
The right colour tones definitely relax you and if you want a boudoir-vibe to put you both in the mood think about when you first got together. You made sure there wasn't a load of stuff lying around your bedroom when they were coming over. You follow out the lighting, the comfort, the music, didn't you? Well you can do these things against the spark back.
Seeing lots of pictures of X Factor's Tulisa out and about, first with a producer in Miami and now a Skins actor in the UK, she looks like she's handling her post-breakup situation well. And that means she's having fun she's not getting into deep and she's not rushing into a relationship on the rebound.
We always assume women rush straight into the next relationship because they just 'have to be in one' but actually I find that men are more likely to go straight into them finding a new girlfriend as soon as possible.
It's like men immediately seek out a new 'comfort zone' and once they've had a relationship experience and know that it feels good in a relationship - they want move as quickly as possible into the next.
Look around at all the men and women you know who've broken up and who has jumped into the next relationship quickest? I'd bet in most cases it's the men!
TODAY’S TIP: The problem is when you jump into a rebound loaded down with emotional baggage - you just don't make good choices.
And all new relationships have problems so you bring in your old problems and then you add in the new ones.
The key? Slow down, don't look for love when you're lonely and instead look for some fun and nothing serious until you've healed.
Look after your heart, Pamx
