ü This is your time to shine! If work has been boring or things got you down don't pack those feelings in your suitcase. Everyone deserves time off so the night before you go make a pact with yourself not to fret over troubles you're leaving at home.

ü Use your holiday to try out new styles, make-up, and a more positive attitude. Look happy and relaxed on holiday and you’re more likely to meet that holiday hunk.

ü Don't forget not all singles are looking for love on holiday. Just because you fall for that holiday hunk doesn't mean he wants anything more than a fling!

ü Play it a bit cool at first. Relationships seem to speed up on holiday. Don't proclaim undying love when you've only just known someone 48 hours. You may scare them off!

ü Practise your flirting techniques! You can have loads of fun flirting that you might not feel confident to do at your local.

ü Stick with your friends so that your safety is never in jeopardy.

ü If you meet someone you fancy don't let the wonderful feeling the sun, sea, and sangria gives you go to your head. I hear all the time from people who've jumped into bed quickly because they’re feeling so good on holiday and then regret it.

ü If you’re going to have a holiday fling then do it safely and take condoms. You he had only want to bring back souvenirs but not STIs (sexually transmitted infections)!

ü Remember alcohol affects you more after being in the sun so alternate your delicious cocktails with non-alcoholic drinks.

ü Don't wander off from your friends with someone you've just met even if they look really nice. Sadly many women get raped on holiday by man they've picked up.

ü Scout out the bars/clubs with your friends before going out so you all know the way back to your hotel just in case you get separated or your mobile doesn't get a signal.

ü If you really like someone, before you take the plunge, try and find out what their motives are.

ü If you click with someone don't fret over starting a long-distance relationship when you get back home - I know many that have worked out.
